Welcome to ConnectingDNA. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our websites, dashboards, Bio-Profiles, AI Companions, marketplaces, apps, services, and sassier-than-average DNA Archetypes. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree — we still like you, but please don't use the platform. For the word-for-word version, switch to Fine Print above.

We're ConnectingDNA Global Pte Ltd ("ConnectingDNA", "we", "us", "our") — a DNA-Wellness ecosystem that connects biological insights with trusted brands, personalised services, and AI-powered planning. We help wellness brands upgrade their offerings with genetic personalisation — without sequencing DNA ourselves. Our Genetic Multiplier Engine sits at the heart of it all: turning DNA traits into ranked, actionable, expert-delivered Bio-Plans.
To use ConnectingDNA, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old to create and manage your own account.
  • If you are 13 to 17 years old, you may only use the Platform with documented consent from a parent or legal guardian. Your account must also be registered and managed by them. Adult supervision required. Like swimming, but with DNA.
  • Children under 13 years old may not register or use the Platform on their own. A parent or legal guardian may submit Genetic Data on their behalf solely to access insights through the Platform.
  • When the child turns 18, the parent or legal guardian should notify ConnectingDNA if account access and data ownership should be transferred to them. Their DNA, their adulthood, their login.
  • Not be a robot (unless you're a robo-human from the future... in that case, welcome). Please don't break anything.
As a Consumer:
  • Get your DNA into your Bio-Profile one of two ways: upload a report from a previous test (yes, even from someone else's platform — we don't judge), or buy a test through us from an integrated DNA partner and tick the consent box at checkout so they send the report straight to us. Either way, your data lands in your private genetic HQ.
  • Explore your Bio-Profile — a gamified genetic dashboard that decodes your DNA with interesting writeups, anatomically cool graphics, and just the right level of sass.
  • Get a personalized DNA story and AI-powered insights about what makes you… you.
  • Receive smart recommendations for wellness services, based on your genes (and not your star sign — although we love astrology too).
  • Book appointments, subscribe to Bio-Plans, or just hang out with your AI Companion (a.k.a. AI Genie).
As a Vendor:
  • Upload and manage your wellness products or services.
  • Sync your calendar, set your availability, and get booked like a pro.
  • Brand and customize genetic wellness reports powered by our AI engine.
  • Track client progress via your vendor dashboard.
  • Create beautiful storefronts like "yourbrand.cdna.shop" (available on the Amplify Your Brand pathway).
When you register, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate, updated info (so no pseudonyms like "Superman123," please).
  • Keep your login credentials safe.
  • Not share your account unless it's with your biological clone. (Still not allowed. Sorry.)
We protect your data with bank-grade AES-256 encryption, ISO/IEC 27001 certification, and full PDPA compliance — because your DNA deserves better security than your Netflix password.
We support DNA reports from most testing services (even that sketchy one your cousin bought on sale). There are two paths in:
  • Upload it yourself. Bought a test elsewhere? Drop the report into your Bio-Profile and we'll take it from there.
  • Skip the upload — buy through us. If you purchase a DNA test through ConnectingDNA from one of our integrated partners, you can consent at checkout to have your report sent straight to us. Your Bio-Profile activates the moment it arrives, no PDF wrangling required.
Whichever route you pick:
  • You confirm the report is either yours, or you have permission to use it.
  • We extract relevant, non-medical information to personalize your experience.
  • Your raw genetic data (the big sequencing files like FASTQ, BAM, or VCF) stays with the DNA testing lab that produced it — we don't store it. ConnectingDNA only stores the DNA Report file itself and the trait data we algorithmically extract from it. This applies whether you uploaded the report yourself or it was sent to us directly by an integrated testing partner with your consent.
  • We never sell your DNA data. Period. (Not even if we're offered a lot of money, a yacht, or a very persuasive PowerPoint.) This isn't just good manners — it's baked into our PDPA compliance.
Your Bio-Profile is your private genetic command centre inside ConnectingDNA. It stores your DNA traits, health goals, and wellness insights — curated by our AI and visible only to you. Think of it as your genetic identity card, except it is actually useful, doesn't require a passport photo, and is much harder to lose in a taxi.
When you choose a personalised service from one of our Vendors, they may offer you a Bio-Plan — a DNA-informed wellness plan built around the relevant traits in your Bio-Profile. For example:
  • A nutrition plan your gut might finally stop side-eyeing.
  • A fitness programme your muscles may complain about slightly less.
  • A skincare plan that works with your biology instead of just hoping for the best.
When a Bio-Plan is involved, here's how it works:
  • You choose the service. We check your Bio-Profile, and our AI matches the relevant traits to the partner's solution.
  • We ask for your clear consent first. Nothing is shared with the vendor unless you say yes. Your DNA is not being passed around like office gossip.
  • Only the relevant traits are shared. Your vendor sees what they need for that specific service, not your full Bio-Profile. No all-access backstage pass.
  • You can revoke consent anytime. You stay in control through your account settings. Your Bio-Profile remains yours. Heads-up: revoking only stops future sharing — anything already shared with a vendor is then governed by their deletion duties under our Partner Terms (48 hours after revocation, or 30 days after the service ends, whichever comes first).
In short: your biology helps shape the plan, our AI helps make it useful, and you decide what gets shared.
Your AI Companion — also known across our platform as your AI Genie — is your personal, privacy-first wellness guide. Same helpful brain. Two names. No drama. No gossip. No secretly judging your snack choices.
Your AI Companion:
  • Only accesses your own Bio-Profile data — not your partner's, your colleague's, your neighbour's, or that one friend who is "just asking for research."
  • Does not share, store across accounts, or remember your conversations beyond your own session unless you choose to export them. Conversation logs sit in your private partition and roll off after 90 days. What happens with your AI Genie stays with your AI Genie.
  • Generates personalised insights and recommendations based on your genes. These are for informational purposes only and are not medical advice. (See the AI hallucinations section below — yes, even smart machines can occasionally talk nonsense with confidence.) Conversation logs are kept for 90 days on a rolling basis, then deleted automatically.
  • Is not a doctor, therapist, or life coach. Though, to be fair, it has been told it listens better than some humans.
The ConnectingDNA marketplace is where your genes meet their match:
  • Browse by your search results (e.g., weight loss, better sleep, clearer skin).
  • Pay via card, crypto, or instalments (just kidding about crypto — we don't accept crypto yet).
  • Leave reviews. Be honest but kind — wellness karma is real.
Vendors are responsible for:
  • Fulfilling orders on time and as described.
  • Honouring promotions and discounts.
  • Uploading only what they're authorized to sell (no shady stuff or miracle claims).
  • Keeping all certifications updated.
Some features may require payment or subscription (e.g., testing kits, premium access). These may include:
  • DNA testing instalment plans.
  • Membership perks and points.
  • Access to exclusive tools or data.
All payments are handled securely through our third-party providers. Prices may change, but we'll always notify you if things change.
To make our services more accessible, some purchases — like DNA tests or expensive offerings — may be available on instalment plans. These are handled by licensed third-party Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) and instalment providers we work with. The current list of providers is shown at checkout. Here's what you need to know:
  • When you choose instalments, you're entering into a separate agreement with the payment provider — not us.
  • We don't set their fees, interest, or penalties (we don't even get a cut!).
  • If you miss a payment, that's between you and them — but they may come knocking (virtually).
We're here to support your wellness journey, but we don't play loan shark. Read the T&Cs from the instalment provider carefully before committing.
When you make a purchase through our Marketplace, we facilitate the connection — but fulfilment is the responsibility of the vendor.
Products:
  • Delivery via third-party logistics — vendors will indicate how many Business Days (i.e. weekdays, excluding holidays) it takes to process your order. Shipping timelines depend on the courier, not us — so please be kind if your probiotics arrive fashionably late.
  • Local collection — some vendors may offer in-store pickup. Just flash your platform purchase receipt (digital is fine, no need to print and kill trees) at the vendor's shop.
Services:
  • In-person services — you'll meet the vendor face-to-face at a mutually agreed location. Be punctual and respectful — wellness karma applies here too.
  • Online services — fulfilled via Zoom, Google Meet, or other virtual channels. It's your responsibility to ensure stable internet and show up in appropriate attire (no judgment, but at least wear a top).
All content on the platform — including animations, product writeups, AI reports, AI Genies, UX designs, and databases — belongs to ConnectingDNA unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reuse, sell, or remix them into NFTs without our permission.
You retain ownership of your own uploaded content — including DNA files — but grant us a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable licence to process them to give you a more personalised experience.
We do our best, but we can't guarantee that:
  • A service or supplement will work miracles overnight.
  • Your DNA results will make you happy.
  • A DNA-personalized solution will give you a quick shortcut (ahem… effort is required).
  • You'll become a superhero after decoding your fitness genes.
Use the platform at your own risk, and always consult a qualified health professional for medical decisions. We're here to empower — not replace — your critical thinking, common sense, or doctor.
One more thing the lawyers want you to know: if something does go wrong and you have a claim against us, the most we'd be on the hook for is whatever you paid us in the 12 months before the issue, or SGD 100 — whichever is greater. (See Fine Print Clause 14.3 for the full version.) That floor isn't us being cheap, it's just how liability caps work in B2C terms across most of the world. Or SGD 100 — whichever is higher. The full wording is in Fine Print, Clause 14.
Don't:
  • Upload false or non-human DNA info (don't give us your dog's DNA report).
  • Misuse the AI chat, spam other users, or try to game the system.
  • Use the platform to violate laws, infringe rights, or sell shady stuff.
Violation of these rules may lead to account suspension or removal.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
  • You breach these Terms.
  • You misuse the platform.
  • Your government says so (but only after we review it thoroughly).
You may also delete your account at any time, but we'll be sad to see you go.
Your privacy matters. Our full Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including storage, protection, and usage. Hint: it's designed with trust, not trickery.
Our platform includes AI-generated responses, DNA insights, health tips, and product recommendations — all designed to sound smart, sometimes witty, and occasionally like your wellness BFF.
But let's be clear: while our AI is trained on tons of data, it can still occasionally hallucinate — which in human terms means making stuff up or misinterpreting data. These responses are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not to be taken as medical, legal, or life-or-death advice. Please consult your actual human professional before acting on anything that sounds too good (or bad) to be true.
TL;DR: AI is helpful, not omniscient. Please use your judgment.
We may occasionally update these Terms (especially if we release cool new features or hire a new lawyer). We'll notify you via email or platform notices. Continued use = you agree to the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore (our lovely HQ). Any disputes will be handled through the courts of Singapore.
