We tell every hire
our culture isn't
for everyone

Changing the world takes a little bit of crazy.

Our culture is intense, and we say so from the first interview.

Changing the world takes a little bit of crazy.

We are a team with a mission, and new joiners feel it in their first week.

Outcomes come first

People who join ConnectingDNA soon find this is no nine-to-five to coast through.

As a startup, we measure work by what it changes. A busy week that moves nothing forward does not count for much here.

Our people juggle roles that a large company would spread across three departments.

Some weeks run into the weekend, and some problems get solved at 11pm. Nobody is told to do that.

They choose to, because they have seen the bigger picture, the reason we exist, and decided it was worth it.

Who is ConnectingDNA?

ConnectingDNA is a Singapore DNA-Wellness company building the layer after the DNA test.

Our Bio-Profile helps people understand compatible consumer DNA reports, and our Bio-Plans connect that context to DNA-Trained Partners.

We are building a category the market is still learning to name.

So we explain DNA-Wellness almost as often as we build it, and every person on the team does both.

We warn people at interview

We tell candidates plainly what they are signing up for.

“This place is intense. Are you sure you’re ready for this?”

They join anyway.

That is why growth is our default state.

Not everyone stays. We have had people resign three days after joining, and that is all right.

A pace like ours sorts people quickly. The wrong fit leaves early, and the right people recognise themselves in it.

The ones who stay:

  • Grow.
  • Lead.
  • Become the best version of themselves.

Ownership beats titles

A small company cannot solve every problem through narrow job descriptions.

People need context, responsibility and enough trust to act.

One example came from intern Edith Cheow, whose initiative helped create an introduction that brought Western Australia’s Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology to our office.

Together we have become sharper, faster and more connected, like cells forming one living, breathing organism.

Hardcore, with heart

Hardcore doesn’t mean heartless.

We push each other to excel, and we support each other fiercely too.

When it is time to have fun, we celebrate, and we can get a little crazy.

The night before our booth at Echelon Singapore in June 2025, the whole team sat down to dinner together. Big days start around one table.

Why we keep going

Building a new category is hard.

  • The science is complex.
  • The team is small.
  • Most people still have no idea what to do with a DNA report once it arrives.

Every one of those is a reason the work is slow, and none of them is a reason to stop.

We keep going because every person who finally understands their own biology shows us the work matters.

We are a slightly quirky, high-performance tribe, building the future of wellness together.

A team that keeps you comfortable is easy to find. We would rather help you grow.

If that sounds like your kind of place, talk to us.
